One may be surprised to find a Chinese restaurant complete with a Ming arch way located on the 5th floor of a carpark.  Founded in 1949, the restaurant moved to its present premises at OCBC Building in the late 1970s.  Beng Thin Hoon Kee  serves traditional Hokkien favourites to loyal fans. This restaurant, together with Beng Hiang, are household names and stalwarts of Hokkien cuisine. Duck salad, fish maw crabmeat soup, ngor hiang and Hokkien noodles are the must-haves in this large and bustling restaurant.
